Well Integrity · Plug & Abandonment

Well integrity and abandonment, engineered with certainty.

Integrity Analytics is the specialist engineering authority helping operators reduce the cost and risk of late-life wells — from integrity assurance to plug & abandonment design and quantified risk modelling.

Well integrity is now a board-level concern.

Aging infrastructure, tighter regulation, and a growing decommissioning backlog have moved integrity and abandonment from the engineering team to the boardroom. We bring focused expertise to the wells that carry the most cost, risk, and scrutiny — so the decisions made about them are safe, defensible, and economical.

What we do

Specialist services for the wells that matter most.

Well integrity and well plug and abandonment (P&A) are all we do — from integrity assurance through P&A design to quantified risk modelling.

S/01
Well Integrity Assurance

Comprehensive assessment, monitoring and management of well integrity to prevent leaks, failures and environmental incidents across the producing life of an asset.

Why it matters

A proactive approach that identifies and mitigates risk early — protecting regulatory compliance and minimising operational disruption.

S/02
Well Plug & Abandonment (P&A) Design

Engineering design and planning for safe, cost-effective well P&A, aligned to industry best practice and the relevant regulatory requirements.

Why it matters

Optimised designs that reduce P&A cost while ensuring long-term, verifiable environmental protection.

S/03
Risk Modelling

Advanced risk assessment and modelling that quantifies and manages the risks across well integrity and abandonment operations.

Why it matters

Data-driven insight that supports confident, defensible decisions and proactive risk-mitigation strategies.

Why Integrity Analytics

Focused expertise where the stakes are highest.

01

Specialists, not generalists

Integrity and abandonment are all we do. That focus means deeper engineering judgement on the problems large firms treat as one service line among many.

02

Cost-effective by design

We engineer to reduce whole-life cost — optimising integrity programmes and P&A designs without compromising safety or compliance.

03

Built around risk

Quantified, data-driven risk modelling sits at the centre of our work, turning uncertainty into decisions you can stand behind to a regulator or a board.

The market is moving in one direction.

Driver 01 Aging infrastructureA large share of wells are reaching the end of productive life and will require abandonment.
Driver 02 Regulatory scrutinyTightening environmental regulation demands robust, auditable well-integrity management.
Driver 03 DecommissioningThe decommissioning of late-life offshore and onshore assets is a major, sustained market driver.

Who we are

A specialist subsurface authority, based in Dubai.

We are a Dubai-based engineering and subsurface company, working solely in the areas of well abandonment and well integrity.

Our staff are a team of highly experienced professionals who have worked for both large multinational operators and service companies. We understand the key drivers and decision-making principles of an operator — while having the experience and the contacts to ensure the best technology is brought to bear on the engineering design.

Who we work with

Partners across the well lifecycle.

Where we work

A global track record.

We have a history of successful projects across the globe — from South America and all sectors of the North Sea, to West Africa and Australia. We have worked with many of the major operators, and are happy to share our experience and project examples.

Regions
South America North Sea — all sectors West Africa Australia

Successful modelling, engineering and execution of P&A projects has taken place across many well types — from deepwater subsea to land wells.

From diagnosis to decision: our well integrity studies uncover the true condition of your wells, empowering operators to design optimal monitoring plans and cost-effective remedial operations with confidence.

We resolve problematic well integrity issues, advising operators on the most efficient, ALARP solution for leaking or non-compliant abandoned wells and sidetracks — and we prepare the reports, presentations and remediation plans, grounded in science and industry best practice, that earn acceptance from stakeholders and regulators alike.

CS/01Abandonment liability

Re-engineering a well abandonment liability provision

A North Sea operator's abandonment liability provision hadn't been reassessed in years, despite a portfolio growing through acquisition and drilling. IA assembled a multi-disciplinary team and re-engineered the abandonment design from the ground up — fully compliant with current best practice and regulation.

Est. saving of $1M+ per well, cutting the overall provision
CS/02P&A design

Thru-tubing P&A across a platform well portfolio

Control lines, chemical-injection lines and gauge cables had pushed the client's base case toward costly conventional P&A with full tubing removal. IA quantitatively risk-assessed each well and re-engineered the strategy, with bespoke designs and well engineering programmes for every well.

Tubing removal eliminated on most wells — regulator-endorsed
CS/03P&A design

Deep-water subsea P&A via light well intervention vessel

Building on the platform project, IA assessed a deep-water subsea development for thru-tubing P&A using a Light Well Intervention Vessel rather than a conventional rig. A large proportion of wells proved suited to LWIV abandonment, with bespoke designs produced for each.

Rig-free abandonment — major cost and CO₂ reduction
CS/04Risk modelling

4-D crossflow modelling of hydrocarbon migration

Where re-entering non-compliant wells is impossible or too costly, IA quantifies the risk instead — building a numerical well-and-subsurface model, then a full 3D overburden model that simulates hydrocarbon migration over time, incorporating nearby wells.

Overburden migration simulated across 1,000–3,000 years
CS/05Regulatory assurance

Independent P&A review for a national regulator

A national regulator engaged IA to independently assess an operator's proposal to abandon a large number of wells using a methodology that fell outside current regulations. IA evaluated its technical and environmental adequacy and identified the shortfalls and associated risks.

An independent, technically robust basis for approval
CS/06Carbon capture

CCS well integrity evaluation of legacy wells

Across three carbon-capture projects, IA evaluated legacy temporarily- and permanently-abandoned wells for the impact of nearby CO₂ sequestration. Well integrity analysis and leakage modelling were run under current, during- and post-injection conditions.

We stay flexible with our commercial offering, shaping it around each client's needs and internal capabilities. We work with clients across the globe under completely flexible working arrangements.

48hrs Typical turnaround from an initial meeting to a commercial quote.
